JUSTINE BATEMAN AND GIANETTA FLUENT

An acting career can begin at any point in one’s life, though the most common starting point is usually during one’s teenage years. Such was the case for Justine Bateman. Beginning her career in 1982, the actress’ most recognized acting credit would arguably be as Mallory Keaton on the sitcom Family Ties. Other on-screen gigs she has worked on since then include The TV Set, Satisfaction, and Desperate Housewives.

Bateman eventually transitioned to more behind-the-scenes work as a producer, writer, and director, her film directorial debut being the 2021 movie Violet. Outside the spotlight, the former actress is married to Mark Fluent, a managing director, with whom she shares two kids, one of which is daughter Gianetta Fluent. With that said, it’s no secret that this family enjoys spending time together. In fact, they would sometimes be spotted attending several red-carpet events.
