BO DEREK – BORN IN 1956

American actress Bo Derek was a renowned model before she entered the film industry with her breakthrough role in 10, a comedy film released in 1979. She was then cast for Tarzan, the Ape Man, which was directed by her husband, John Derek, and subsequently in Bolero and Christmas in the Heartland. She dated John Corbett in 2002 after the death of her husband in 1998.

Now 64, Bo still looks gorgeous and youthful that people suspect she has undergone plastic surgery, which she quickly denied. She firmly believes that age has to be embraced and not feared. Through her retirement years, Bo would spend most of her time tending to her horses. She is also a national honorary chairperson for Veterans Affairs’ National Rehabilitation Special Events.
