When she started her career as a model, she landed a job that made her into the star she is. Her record five-cover appearances for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue led Elle to earned her famous nickname, ‘The Body’, as stated by Time in 1989. She stepped into the world of films and starred in successful movies like The Mirror Has Two Faces, The Edge, South Kensington, and Batman and Robin.
