Eddie Murphy was one of the pillars of Hollywood’s comic scene of the 1980s and the 1990s. He’s also considered a legend in the stand-up comedy world, and is ranked as the 10th in Comedy Central’s 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time. He jumpstarted his career when he started doing Saturday Night Live which he is a part of for four years. Eddie is also a fantastic actor who has starred in movies like 48 Hours, Beverly Hills Cop series, Trading Places, and The Nutty Professor.

His superb performance in interpreting soul singer James “Thunder ” Early in the musical film Dreamgirls earned the actor a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor.

The actor’s happy outlook in life might be his biggest secret why he ages gracefully. At the age of 58, he still looks younger compared to other people within the same range. However, Murphy also took some blows during his prime, especially when Art Buchwald, along with his team of lawyers, sued him about a certain script back in 1988.
