DAVID BIRNEY – BORN IN 1939
Another legendary actor on the list is David Birney. The actor proves his talent is not just for the small and big screens but also stage plays. He showed incredible acting skill, playing different roles in both contemporary and classical roles. The now-81-year-old used to dominate the TV screen from the ’80s to the ’90s with his slew of projects—strong evidence of his fame’s high degree back then.
Some of his best projects are the Broadway shows Amadeus, Benefactors, and Superman. Birney also did the movies Caravan to Vaccares, Nightfall, and the TV shows Ghost Story, Someone’s Watching, and more. He also ventured into directing and writing. Birney edited and adapted some of Mark Twain’s short works and letters into a stage play. Mark Twain’s The Diaries of Adam and Even was then presented on the PBS series American Playhouse. From here, he did another stage play, A Christmas Pudding, marking another achievement that Birney did.
