Ali MacGraw – Born In 1939

Ali MacGraw rose to prominence when she played a role in the 1969 movie, Goodbye, Columbus, which earned her a Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Just after a year, she gained international attention when she did Love Story, earning her another award from Golden Globe and a nomination from the Academy Awards. With her incredible talent, accolades, and hit after hit movies, she earned another credit – the world’s top female box office star.

These awards are only few of what she accomplished. Later on, she then received an honor of a hand-and-footprints ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. At the time, she had only made three films, but already got inducted. MacGraw then went on to make The Getaway, Convoy, Players, Just Tell Me What You Want, and The Winds of War. Today, MacGraw is 81 years old and there are some people who would want to see her in the industry again.
