Pam Grier – Born In 1949
American actress Pam Grier has Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown to thank for bringing the luster back to her fast-declining career, after being known for a string of films about women in prison back in the 1970s such as The Big Bird Cage, Foxy Brown, and Sheba, Baby. Moreover, Pam is also considered for Matron “MAMA ” Morton in Chicago way back on 2002.
For her Jackie Brown stint, Grier received a Best Actress nomination from Golden Globe. She was also nominated for the Satellite and SAG Award. Proving that a real gem shines back even after it dulls out, Grier bounced back to life like a spotlight powered by electricity. Her bank account kept jumping higher too, with an estimated net worth of $10 million! Clearly, after years of working in the industry, Pam’s talent is always remembered. Probably most of you would agree that she did create a legacy for over the decades.
