THE GREAT KHALI – BORN 1972

Dalip Singh Rana, better known in the wrestling world as The Great Khali, is an Indian wrestler and actor who rose to prominence in the mid-2000s.
Growing up, Khali suffered from the medical condition acromegaly. The condition made the wrestler grow unusually big to the point of gigantism. This also made life a bit more challenging for him, considering that he is the seventh child of a relatively poor family.

To make ends meet, the wrestler would do odd jobs, including being a security guard. Coincidentally, this job also led to him being hired into the Indian police, where he trained in the art of wrestling. Soon after, he was selected to train in the United States. There, he began a more professional wrestling career, which took him to several corners of the earth. He achieved widespread fame around 2006, thanks to his undefeated streak in the WWE. He remains active in the wrestling world to this day but prefers to maintain some degree of privacy outside of the ring.
