CHRISTIE BRINKLEY — BORN IN 1954

Many fans of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit know Christie Brinkley well as one of the brand’s top muse back in the 1970s. Brinkley modeled for the swimwear brand for three consecutive issues and has since gained popularity as a model on an international scale. After her stint for the brand, Brinkley was able to enter the entertainment industry as an actress. In 1983, the model appeared in National Lampoon’s Vacation as well as in The Face of the ’80s.  Proving that her acting skills are here to stay, Brinkley also stepped into Broadway with the 2012 play Chicago.

Now at 67, the actress is still an active actress, a model, and a book author. In 2015, she released her book Timeless Beauty, which talked about her youthful glow despite aging. Brinkley also made a comeback for Sports Illustrated, proving that she still has that degree of supermodel aura four decades after she posed for the magazine. She was joined by her equally beautiful daughters Alexa Ray Joel and Sailor Brinkley Cook.
