Rob Lowe – Born in 1964
Rob Lowe’s striking looks made women swoon over him back in the 1980s. He debuted his acting career on the TV sitcom A New Kind of Family at the age of 15 and has taken Hollywood by storm since then. He gained his heartthrob status in the film St. Elmo’s Fire and went back to working on TV with Parks and Recreation, and The Grinder.
His career sadly took a blow in 1988 when a video scandal involving him and a female minor surfaced; thus, he decided to take a couple of years away from the limelight, most likely upon the advice of his attorney. In 1999, he made his successful comeback as Sam Seaborn on one of NBC’s political drama shows, The West Wing. His talent and charm remained even after years of hiatus as he bagged a nomination for Primetime Emmy Award and two more for Golden Globe Awards.
