Andrew McCarthy – Born in 1962

Popularly known as a member of the Brat Pack, American actor Andrew McCarthy had always dreamed of landing a role in the movies even at a young age. His dream came true when he rose to stardom after being cast for St. Elmo’s Fire with Rob Lowe. He then went on to play in other films such as Pretty in Pink and Less Than Zero.

Young as he was, the lure of alcohol won over him, and for a while, he got hooked to it until he decided it was time to overcome this lousy vice before he loses his credibility as an artist along with all his investments.

Fortunately, his hard work paid off and he got sober. He went back to acting but also added directing and writing to his portfolio which received many praises from her peers. He made his life better and married the love of his life, Dolores Rice. Together they are raising their three children who are growing more in love with their family.
