At only 23 years old, Simone is the world’s 3rd most decorated gymnast. However, within the United States, she remains the most decorated, winning a total of 25 world medals—19 of which are gold. She got her first taste of gymnastics at age 6, where the instructors she met during a day-care field trip encouraged her to pursue the sport. Soon after, she enrolled at Bannon’s Gymnastix Inc. and, by age 8, was training with famed coach Aimee Boorman.

For a sport that only generates so little buzz in the media, gymnastics isn’t a very high-paying career path so it’s important that Biles considers making strategic investments to secure her future. Even though Biles has won 25 World Championship medals, her biggest payday was $100,000, when she acquired four gold medals during the 2016 Olympics. Outside of the sport, Simone has various partnerships with big brands such as Beats by Dr. Dre, Procter & Gamble, and The Hershey Company. Her current net worth is thanks to these brand deals.
