Roseanne Barr came from humble beginnings. The career she built has now spanned more than 30 years, and she became among the wealthiest actresses in Hollywood. She has made few investments, including real estate. Barr started as a stand-up comedian and then appeared on the TV sitcom, Roseanne. Due to her amazing performance on the show, she won a Golden Globe Award as Best Actress.

Barr was also featured on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, and later on, was given her own show, The Roseanne Barr Show. Her show was aired on HBO, and it earned her an American Comedy Award. She also attained a star in the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, which she deserves. In 1989, she launched her own autobiography, Roseanne—My Life As a Woman, and in the same year, she debuted in She-Devil. Today, she is 68 years old and still works in show business.
