Denzel Washington is among the most established and prominent actors in Hollywood. He is known for his serious acting and action movies. His career can be traced back to the early ‘70s as he started acting in theatres, and later on, the big screen. One of his most notable films as a rising star is Cry Freedom back in 1987. He is also given praise for his performance in Malcolm X, Philadelphia, and Training Day.

Over the years, with several films to his credit, he was able to bag many awards such as three Golden Globes, two Academy Awards, and a Tony. Despite Washington’s fame and stardom, his marriage and family life did not suffer. He was able to balance time between work and family, with the help of his wife, Pauletta Pearson.
