You may know Lisa Bonet as Denise Huxtable in The Cosby Show, but the now-53-year-old star has made a big name for herself since. After her semi-retirement in the ‘90s, the actress returned with a vengeance. She made a number of appearances on the big and small screens.

She was seen as Maya Daniels in Life on Mars and as Marisol in Ray Donovan.

The American beauty is also part of High Fidelity, Biker Boyz, and Road to Paloma, but if there’s one film that made a mark in the minds of many, it’s Angel Heart. The 1987 film was controversial to a certain degree due to the scenes Lisa shared with Mickey Rourke. It featured several seconds of explicit sequences, though it was all edited to secure an R-rating. Lisa showed how great of an actress she is here.
