Who can forget her portrayal of the adorable Abby Sciuto on NCIS? She was part of the show from 2003 to 2018, becoming one of its most beloved cast members. It might surprise you to know that prior to being an actress, Perrette actually had other plans. Among her early ambitions were to be in a rock band, work with animals, or become an FBI agent.

In a way, she managed to do all of that through her role on the show—fun fact: Perrette actually received a master’s degree in criminal science before acting full-time.

After her NCIS role, Perrette portrayed Jackie, the lead role in CBS’s sitcom, Broke. The show had a very successful first season but eventually got canceled in May 2020. That same year, the actress announced her retirement from the industry. Whatever she’s doing now, we hope that she’s doing well and happy.
