Talia Shire hails from the famous Coppola clan in Hollywood. As the sister of director Francis Ford Coppola and aunt to Nicolas Cage and Sofia Coppola, it’s clear that talent runs in the family. Shire is known for her role as Adrian Balboa in the Rocky films and as Connie Corleone in The Godfather trilogy.
Thanks to her acting skills and exotic looks, she was able to land major roles in two of history’s most unforgettable film franchises.
What some people might not know is that Shire has more than 45 acting credits during her entire career in Hollywood. For her performance in Rocky, she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award. Today, there are no signs from Shire that she’s going to go into retirement any time soon. She recently appearing in the 2020 film Working Man.
