PAULA PRENTISS
Paula Prentiss is an American actress best known for her roles in the films The Parallax View, Catch-22, What’s New Pussycat?, and The Stepford Wives. She got her start back in 1960 when she portrayed Tuggle in the film Where the Boys Are alongside Jim Hutton. The film was well-received, which led to MGM signing both actors to do three more comedies. Fun fact: both Prentiss and Hutton were also two of the tallest contract talents signed with the studio at the time.
Prentiss, herself, towered others at 5 ft. 10 inches! She has had quite a career over the years but experienced a decline in project-offers as she aged. Despite this, the actress was never really entirely out of the spotlight and still received credit for cameo appearances on shows such as Burke’s Law. Her most recent feature film is 2016’s I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House.
