LINDA RONSTADT
Linda Ronstadt is one of those artists who can easily switch from one genre to another. She has tried her hand at country music, rock, Latin music, and even light opera throughout her career. She has been honored with 10 Grammy Awards, Academy of Country Music, American Music Awards, an ALMA Award, and an Emmy Award. In 2014, Linda got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Alongside Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for their work in the group Trio.
While she may have since retired from music, Ronstadt continues her work as a political activist. She has always been a staunch supporter of environmental issues and has investments in related organizations. In 2013, she published Simple Dreams: A Musical Memoir, which chronicled her colorful life as a musician.
