JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS
The actress and comedian is another Saturday Night Live alumni. She was on the show from 1982 to 1985 and later starred in the equally popular sitcom Seinfeld. Her character, Elaine Benes, has become a pop culture icon since and is also one of the performances most associated with the actress. While she started out doing supporting roles, Louis-Dreyfus eventually received credit for being the lead actress after landing Christine Campbell’s role in The New Adventures of Old Christine.
The series had a five-season run and had won multiple accolades.
In 2018, the actress was honored with the Mark Twain Award for American Humor, which the Kennedy Center awarded. As for retiring, she has no plans just yet. In fact, in 2020, she signed a multi-year deal with Apple TV+ to develop new projects as both actress and executive producer.
