BARBARA WALTERS – EST. $200 MILLION

At 90 years old, Barbara Walters certainly has accomplished plenty. Her TV career has lasted for six decades, hosting several top shows, including ABC Evening News The View 20/20 and Today. She began her career back in the ’60s, not as a host, but as a writer and segment producer. She is also given credit for pioneering women in broadcasting—becoming the first female co-anchor of a network evening news program.

During her long and successful career as a journalist, Barbara was famous for getting access to the world’s news-makers and asking difficult questions when she did. When she moved on to her talk-show format, she didn’t let go of that edge – especially as a producer. She officially retired in 2016, but her legacy of conducting many memorable interviews with the world’s most interesting personalities, including the likes of Vladimir Putin, Indira Gandhi, and even Fidel Castro, will certainly live on.
