BRIDGET FONDA

Fans of the actress and film lovers alike were saddened following the announcement that actress Bridget Fonda has retired from acting. Many consider her a rare gem in the industry, someone whose influence transcends Hollywood as a whole. Fonda is best known for her roles in Single White Female, The Godfather Part III, It Could Happen to You, Point of No Return, and Jackie Brown. While she did come from a privileged background, the actress certainly created her own path toward success.

Aside from film appearances, Fonda also appeared in a few theatre productions to gain further experience. That later helped her land prominent roles and great reviews for her work. In 2001, she starred in what would be her last two movies, Kiss of the Dragon and The Whole Shebang. Her final acting credit is for the TV film Snow Queen in 2002.
