GILLIAN ANDERSON

We know her best as Dana Scully on the pop culture phenomenon The X-Files, but Gillian Anderson has also had a number of other memorable roles throughout the years. If you didn’t know, Gillian brought to life Lily Bart in The House of Mirth and even portrayed Margaret Thatcher in Netflix’s The Crown. It isn’t too surprising that she has received several honors, including two Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a Primetime Emmy.

As an actress, however, Gillian’s skills go beyond film and TV. Anderson also has stage experience, and her work in theatre has earned her critical acclaim.

You might think that someone as busy as her wouldn’t have time for much else, but Anderson finds time to support her advocacies actively. She uses some of her own investment money to support various humanitarian organizations. She is also co-founder of the South African Youth Education for Sustainability.
