ROBBY BENSON AND ZEPHYR BENSON
With his mother being an experienced actor and singer, and his father a writer, it’s no surprise Robby Benson eventually followed in their footsteps. In fact, he began his acting career at a pretty young age. Before finishing high school as his batch’s valedictorian, he had already landed a couple of gigs, including an uncredited part in the 1967 film, Wait Until Dark. Nowadays, though, his most known on-screen roles would arguably be in Ice Castle and One on One. What many probably don’t know is that he also voiced the Beast in the Disney animated classic Beauty and the Beast.
Besides acting, Benson has also made investments behind the scenes as a director and composer. Well, by the looks of it, his son Zephyr Benson followed suit. The passion for the arts runs in the family, it looks like. With that said, he got his directorial debut in 2015 with the movie Straight Outta Tompkins, which he also wrote and starred in.
