Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle, known professionally as Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is an American former actress and member of the British royal family. She is married to Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

Their Son Archie was born on May 6, 2019 at Portland Hospital in London and is seventh in line to the British throne. At his birth, he became the first mixed-race child to be born into the British royal family in modern history. Meghan and Harry kept much of Archie’s life private and did not give him a royal title at birth. They wanted him to have a more normal childhood away from the pressures of royal duties and media spotlight.

In early 2020, Meghan and Harry stepped back from their royal duties and moved with Archie to California in the United States. They have since signed multimillion-dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify to produce films and podcasts. While adjusting to their new lives in America, they are also caring for their young son Archie, now aged four, and protecting his privacy as much as possible outside of the royal family.
