ANTHONY HOPKINS – $160 MILLION

Sir Anthony Hopkins is one of the most iconic stars in Hollywood, but his career did not start on film. He was inspired by Richard Burton to get a degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. He then spent the first few years of his career appearing in stage productions. His first film was The Lion in Winter. However, it was when he portrayed the villain Hannibal Lecter, in Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon that he truly sealed his career in Hollywood.

Hopkins has several box-office hits during his stellar career in Hollywood. Among these are Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Remains of the Day, Legends of the Fall, Amistad, and The Mask of Zorro. During the peak of his career, Hopkins was earning $15 million for each film he made. He has also dabbled in music and is quite the philanthropist too.
