KATE UPTON – EST. $20 MILLION

If you have seen Tower Heist, then you would know who Kate Upton is. She is an actress and a model who first appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue back in 2011. She was also the cover model for 2012, 2013 and 2017 issues. Her family has a diverse background with one of them, Fred Upton, being a US representative, while another one, Frederick Upton, the co-founder of Whirlpool Corporation.

In short, Upton’s family already has money and influence. Despite that, the model wanted to prove she could also be capable of money management and earn on her own. She attended a casting call for Elite Model Management in Miami and was given a contract that same day. She then moved to New York and signed with IMG Models. Her first gig was for Garage and Dooney & Bourke before becoming the face of Guess from 2010 to 2011.
