JAVIER BARDEM – EST. $30 MILLION
Born to a family filled with experienced actors and filmmakers, it’s no surprise Javier Bardem eventually followed suit. Well, the thing is, acting wasn’t his first career choice. Bardem initially wanted to be a painter and studied painting before finally following in his family’s footsteps.
Like many of his colleagues, Bardem’s earlier works in the industry mostly consist of minor roles and bit parts.
His first movie debut was in The Ages of Lulu, in which his mother also starred in the movie. He finally got his big break from one project to another, thanks to his acting credit in Before Night Falls, earning him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. That nomination eventually became an award when he received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, thanks to his performance as Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men. Other films Bardem has worked on since then include Skyfall, Everybody Knows, and Dune.
