His base salary for the show at the time was $1 million per episode. However, adding his producer works, creator, syndication, and other income streams, the amount quadrupled to $4 million per episode. Cosby owned 20% of the show’s equity. Over the last several decades, it already earned hundreds of millions in syndication royalties.
