She was born on April 1, 1939, as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw. She starred in the business as a photo assistant, venturing into the modeling world before starting her acting career. In 1969, Ali captured everyone’s heart with the movie Goodbye, Columbus, which earned her a Golden Globe Award.

She then made the movie Love Story in 1970, where she received an Academy and Golden Globe Award nomination.
