Parker Schnabel made a name as a gold miner and reality TV star who started involving himself with mining since he was just five years old. He is famously known as part of the long-running reality series, Gold Rush, and its spinoff, Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail. In fact, he is the main focus of the Discovery Channel series that started airing in 2010. He is most notable for trying to help the miners at the Porcupine Creek claim. When the show’s fourth season began, he decided to go on his own and leave his family’s mine. In the first year of his mining operation, he found 1,029 oz of gold. This has been an excellent investment for him, who now has an $8 million net worth.
